On June 5, We Run Together. 

Global Running Day is our holiday; a celebration of the activity we love and the sport that brings our community together. We’re inviting all runners and walkers to join us on June 5th to mark the occasion, set a goal and cross the finish line. 

Whether you're running for the first time ever, working to increase your mileage, trying to get back in shape, or just want to socialize with fitness-minded people, our 5k training group is specifically designed to get you there! Our unique, personalized approach combines skillful coaches, experienced ambassadors, proven training techniques, and the power of community to help you achieve your goals. This training season lasts 8 weeks with the first workout beginning on Monday, April 8, at 6:00 pm. This group trains for The Big Run 5K taking place on Wednesday, June 5, 6:30 PM at Waterfront Park.

• An experienced coach to assist and guide you throughout the season; -Daily training schedule based on pace group: walkers, to intervals, to running;

Girls on the Run® is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams. Inspiring girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running, Girls on the Run transforms the lives of girls across the country by teaching them critical life skills that stay with them for a lifetime.
