Summer Speed School! Join us.

Anyone, any pace, who wants to be more efficient - let's take the Summer to focus not so much on distance, but on that Personal Record you've been chasing! 

This session is for anyone who wants to focus on form, speed, and maintaining a strong base for our fall training programs.  Seven weeks of speed, strength, and support!  Stay accountable and motivated!  

We will beat the summer heat with morning workouts. This year, we will be taking it to the track! Nine of the workouts will take place at Folsom's Sutter Middle School gravel track. 

Kick-Off Informational Meeting

Not sure if Summer Speed School is for you? All are welcome to meet the coaches on Tuesday, June 4 at 6:00am at Big Wave Coffeehouse (189 Blue Ravine Rod, Folsom CA). Meet Coaches Rochelle and Heidi, ask questions, and go for a 30-minute fun run with the group!

Weekly Workouts

  • June 4th to July 18th
  • Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:00 AM
  • Workouts will be at various locations in the Folsom area including select workouts on a gravel track 

Training Schedule

If you cannot make a workout, you will have a schedule to continue to follow the plan. Additional on-your-own workout schedule also provided. 

Education

Coaches and special guests will educate you in person and in Final Surge on topics such as trail safety, mobility, nutrition/hydration, how to prepare for your goals, injury prevention, and more. They are also a resource and support for you along the way. 

Group Training Atmosphere

Enjoy the safety, accountability, information, and motivation that come from a coached group workout environment. We also have a private Social Wall in Final Surge for you to share, communicate, and get motivation from your fellow training members.

Program Cost  $100

Minimum Activity Level

You should be able to walk or run 30-45 minutes, 3 times a week at the start of training.
